Stathis & Leonardis is proud to announce that on March 28, 2019, Attorney Nicholas Leonardis won a $1.4 million settlement for a client who was struck by a car. In September 2016, a Rutgers University student was jogging on the University’s Busch Campus and was struck by a vehicle in the crosswalk. She suffered from a traumatic brain injury, a head laceration, and a subdural hematoma, ultimately causing her to spend 13 days in the hospital. Unfortunately, her studies in the United States were cut short, as she had to return to China for the rest of the semester to continue her recovery. Though she was able to come back to Rutgers in January 2017, she had to put much more time into her studies because of memory and concentration issues directly related to her accident.
